With <strong>more than thirty years of history<\/strong> behind it, the fair continues to set market trends and enrich participants\u2019 knowledge through <strong>masterclasses<\/strong>, <strong>seminars <\/strong>and <strong>guided tastings<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p>Over three busy days, wine professionals can combine <strong>business<\/strong>, <strong>networking <\/strong>and <strong>learning<\/strong>. Our mission? To showcase the quality of Valpolicella wines to professionals from around the globe!   <\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">D\u00fcsseldorf: the city<\/h3>\n\n<p>Situated on the eastern bank of the Rhine, <strong>D\u00fcsseldorf <\/strong>is a modern, dynamic city. From the terminal, shuttle buses and taxis provide quick access to the fair. <strong>Train <\/strong>travellers can benefit from <strong>Deutsche Bahn<\/strong>\u2019s special offers, including free transport from the station to the venue.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Visitors arriving by <strong>car <\/strong>can reach the venue directly via the A44 motorway and make use of the ample parking and complimentary shuttle buses. Dry, harmonious palate. <br\/><strong>Food pairings<\/strong>: excellent with cold cuts, pasta dishes, and white meat or fish mains.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Valpolicella Classico<\/h4>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scriani.it\/valpolicella\/\">Valpolicella Classico<\/a>, red wine from Ronchiel and La Costa vineyards.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Vinification<\/strong>: in stainless steel tanks with 12 days of skin maceration at controlled temperature.<br\/><strong>Tasting notes<\/strong>: bright ruby red colour, fragrant, intense and very fruity aroma. Dry, harmonious palate. <br\/><strong>Food pairings<\/strong>: perfect with cold cuts, local cured meats, pasta, rice, risotto, soups and vegetable stews, as well as tripe in broth and white meat dishes.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Valpolicella Superiore <\/h4>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scriani.it\/valpolicella-superiore\/\">Valpolicella Superiore<\/a>, red wine from Ronchiel, La Costa and Monte Sant\u2019Urbano vineyards.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Vinification<\/strong>: red vinification with around 15 days of skin maceration, natural fermentation.<br\/><strong>Tasting notes<\/strong>: deep ruby red colour; harmonious, savoury palate; intense and pleasant aroma.<br\/><strong>Food pairings<\/strong>: pairs excellently with main courses, particularly roasts, baked lamb and medium-aged cheeses.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Valpolicella Ripasso<\/h4>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scriani.it\/valpolicella-ripasso\/\">Valpolicella Ripasso<\/a>, red wine from Mandolari, Bosco, Tondin, Ronchiel and La Costa vineyards.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Vinification<\/strong>: using the Ripasso method, where Valpolicella Classico is re-fermented on the Amarone and Recioto grape skins to enhance aroma, colour and body.<br\/><strong>Tasting notes<\/strong>: intense ruby red with aromas of undergrowth, cherries and plums; robust and complex body, stimulating the senses.<br\/><strong>Food pairings<\/strong>: superb with flavourful dishes, mixed grilled meats, roasts and medium-aged cheeses.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Carpan\u00e8 <\/h4>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scriani.it\/carpane\/\">Carpan\u00e8<\/a>, red wine from Carpan\u00e8 vineyards.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Vinification<\/strong>: after around 30 days of natural over-ripening in the drying loft, fermentation takes place in 50 hl conical oak casks for about 25 days.<br\/><strong>Tasting notes<\/strong>: deep ruby red colour, floral and berry aromas; on the palate, herbal notes with hints of spice and bitter almonds.<br\/><strong>Food pairings<\/strong>: ideal with red meat dishes and long-aged cheeses.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Infinito <\/h4>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scriani.it\/infinito\/\">Infinito<\/a>, red wine from Tenuta Monte Corno and Rocolo vineyards.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Vinification<\/strong>: approximately 40 days of grape drying, fermentation in steel, ageing in American barriques for 2 years, followed by at least 6 months in bottle.<br\/>Tasting notes: hints of spice and herbs, raspberry and blackberry persistence; rich in aromas, tannins and colour. <br\/><strong>Food pairings<\/strong>: excellent with robust dishes such as roasts, game, aged cheeses or red meats, also perfect as a contemplative wine.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Amarone <\/h4>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scriani.it\/amarone-della-valpolicella\/\">Amarone<\/a>, red wine from Mandolari, Tondin, Bosco and La Costa vineyards.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Vinification<\/strong>: natural over-ripening in the drying loft for 90-110 days, followed by pressing in 50 hl conical oak casks. Fermentation with skins for 30-40 days, without added yeasts. <br\/><strong>Tasting notes<\/strong>: deep ruby red tending towards garnet; clean aromas of berries, jam and cherry spirits; flavours of vanilla, spice, liquorice and bitter almonds.<br\/><strong>Food pairings<\/strong>: enhances robust dishes such as game, roasts and well-aged cheeses; also a superb contemplative wine.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lugana DOC<\/h4>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scriani.it\/lugana\/\">Lugana DOC<\/a>, white wine from San Martino della Battaglia vineyards.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Vinification<\/strong>: aged in steel vats for around 7 months, 5 of which on fine lees.<br\/><strong>Tasting notes<\/strong>: pale straw yellow with golden reflections; fresh fruit aromas, particularly apple and white peach, with pleasant citrus notes. Broad, round and full-bodied on the palate.  <br\/><strong>Food pairings<\/strong>: excellent as an aperitif, with starters and fish dishes.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Custoza <\/h4>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scriani.it\/custoza\/\">Custoza<\/a>, white wine from Tenuta Monte Corno vineyards.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Vinification<\/strong>: fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.<br\/><strong>Tasting notes<\/strong>: straw yellow colour, intense fruity aroma with slight aromatic notes; savoury, delicate, round palate with balanced body. <br\/><strong>Food pairings<\/strong>: enjoyable as an aperitif or with starters, fish first courses, grilled fish, white sauces and meats.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Pinot Grigio DOC<\/h4>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scriani.it\/pinot-grigio-delle-venezie\/\">Pinot Grigio DOC<\/a>, white wine from Tenuta Monte Corno vineyards.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Vinification<\/strong>: fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.<br\/><strong>Tasting notes<\/strong>: straw yellow; intense fruity nose with subtle mineral and floral notes. Soft, elegant palate with velvety, aromatic and fresh taste. <br\/><strong>Food pairings<\/strong>: perfect with starters and fish dishes.<\/p>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Soave DOC<\/h4>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scriani.it\/soave\/\">Soave DOC<\/a>, white wine from Monte Forte d\u2019Alpone vineyards.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>Vinification<\/strong>: destemming and pressing of the grapes. Selection of the free-run juice and fermentation in steel vats at controlled temperature between 14-16\u00b0C. <br\/><strong>Tasting notes<\/strong>: pale straw yellow with greenish reflections, bright. Fresh and delicate aroma with notes of vine flowers, cherry and elderflower.
