As always, it’s a fantastic opportunity to meet colleagues, sommeliers, buyers and industry specialists, sharing the passion that drives and inspires Scriani winemaking every day.

ProWein 2026 Düsseldorf: everything you need to know

Edition after edition, ProWein attracts producers, importers, retailers, sommeliers and journalists from over 140 countries, and 2026 will be no different. With more than thirty years of history behind it, the fair continues to set market trends and enrich participants’ knowledge through masterclasses, seminars and guided tastings.

Over three busy days, wine professionals can combine business, networking and learning. Our mission? To showcase the quality of Valpolicella wines to professionals from around the globe!

Düsseldorf: the city

Situated on the eastern bank of the Rhine, Düsseldorf is a modern, dynamic city. Beyond being a major economic and commercial hub, it offers a rich cultural and artistic scene, with museums, galleries and a lively historic centre. The Altstadt district is perfect for enjoying local cuisine, while the Rhine promenade is dotted with stunning panoramic views.

Thanks to an efficient transport network, the city is easily accessible from across Europe and beyond: ideal for visitors attending ProWein 2026.

For those interested in a touch of tourism, Düsseldorf offers numerous gourmet restaurants, quality hotels, wellness centres, luxury shops and spacious green areas, perfect for a break between tastings.

Getting to ProWein 2026

Getting to ProWein 2026 is straightforward.

Düsseldorf Airport, just 3 km from the exhibition centre, offers direct connections to over 200 destinations worldwide. From the terminal, shuttle buses and taxis provide quick access to the fair. Train travellers can benefit from Deutsche Bahn’s special offers, including free transport from the station to the venue.

Visitors arriving by car can reach the venue directly via the A44 motorway and make use of the ample parking and complimentary shuttle buses. Fixed-rate taxis are also available.

Scriani stand at ProWein 2026

Our stand will be M40 in Hall 3, within the collective space of the Valpolicella Consortium. The Scriani team will be on hand for tastings, presentations and business meetings.

Now, the highlight: let’s discover the wines we’ll be presenting at ProWein 2026!

Orì

Orì, a red wine from Ronchiel and La Costa vineyards.

Vinification: in stainless steel tanks with 12 days of skin maceration at controlled temperature.
Tasting notes: bright ruby red colour, fragrant, intense and very fruity aroma. Dry, harmonious palate.
Food pairings: excellent with cold cuts, pasta dishes, and white meat or fish mains.

Valpolicella Classico

Valpolicella Classico, red wine from Ronchiel and La Costa vineyards.

Vinification: in stainless steel tanks with 12 days of skin maceration at controlled temperature.
Tasting notes: bright ruby red colour, fragrant, intense and very fruity aroma. Dry, harmonious palate.
Food pairings: perfect with cold cuts, local cured meats, pasta, rice, risotto, soups and vegetable stews, as well as tripe in broth and white meat dishes.

Valpolicella Superiore

Valpolicella Superiore, red wine from Ronchiel, La Costa and Monte Sant’Urbano vineyards.

Vinification: red vinification with around 15 days of skin maceration, natural fermentation.
Tasting notes: deep ruby red colour; harmonious, savoury palate; intense and pleasant aroma.
Food pairings: pairs excellently with main courses, particularly roasts, baked lamb and medium-aged cheeses.

Valpolicella Ripasso

Valpolicella Ripasso, red wine from Mandolari, Bosco, Tondin, Ronchiel and La Costa vineyards.

Vinification: using the Ripasso method, where Valpolicella Classico is re-fermented on the Amarone and Recioto grape skins to enhance aroma, colour and body.
Tasting notes: intense ruby red with aromas of undergrowth, cherries and plums; robust and complex body, stimulating the senses.
Food pairings: superb with flavourful dishes, mixed grilled meats, roasts and medium-aged cheeses.

Carpanè

Carpanè, red wine from Carpanè vineyards.

Vinification: after around 30 days of natural over-ripening in the drying loft, fermentation takes place in 50 hl conical oak casks for about 25 days.
Tasting notes: deep ruby red colour, floral and berry aromas; on the palate, herbal notes with hints of spice and bitter almonds.
Food pairings: ideal with red meat dishes and long-aged cheeses.

Infinito

Infinito, red wine from Tenuta Monte Corno and Rocolo vineyards.

Vinification: approximately 40 days of grape drying, fermentation in steel, ageing in American barriques for 2 years, followed by at least 6 months in bottle.
Tasting notes: hints of spice and herbs, raspberry and blackberry persistence; rich in aromas, tannins and colour.
Food pairings: excellent with robust dishes such as roasts, game, aged cheeses or red meats, also perfect as a contemplative wine.

Amarone

Amarone, red wine from Mandolari, Tondin, Bosco and La Costa vineyards.

Vinification: natural over-ripening in the drying loft for 90-110 days, followed by pressing in 50 hl conical oak casks. Fermentation with skins for 30-40 days, without added yeasts.
Tasting notes: deep ruby red tending towards garnet; clean aromas of berries, jam and cherry spirits; flavours of vanilla, spice, liquorice and bitter almonds.
Food pairings: enhances robust dishes such as game, roasts and well-aged cheeses; also a superb contemplative wine.

Lugana DOC

Lugana DOC, white wine from San Martino della Battaglia vineyards.

Vinification: aged in steel vats for around 7 months, 5 of which on fine lees.
Tasting notes: pale straw yellow with golden reflections; fresh fruit aromas, particularly apple and white peach, with pleasant citrus notes. Broad, round and full-bodied on the palate.
Food pairings: excellent as an aperitif, with starters and fish dishes.

Custoza

Custoza, white wine from Tenuta Monte Corno vineyards.

Vinification: fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Tasting notes: straw yellow colour, intense fruity aroma with slight aromatic notes; savoury, delicate, round palate with balanced body.
Food pairings: enjoyable as an aperitif or with starters, fish first courses, grilled fish, white sauces and meats.

Pinot Grigio DOC

Pinot Grigio DOC, white wine from Tenuta Monte Corno vineyards.

Vinification: fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.
Tasting notes: straw yellow; intense fruity nose with subtle mineral and floral notes. Soft, elegant palate with velvety, aromatic and fresh taste.
Food pairings: perfect with starters and fish dishes.

Soave DOC

Soave DOC, white wine from Monte Forte d’Alpone vineyards.

Vinification: destemming and pressing of the grapes. Selection of the free-run juice and fermentation in steel vats at controlled temperature between 14-16°C.
Tasting notes: pale straw yellow with greenish reflections, bright. Fresh and delicate aroma with notes of vine flowers, cherry and elderflower. Pleasantly aromatic and balanced.
Food pairings: delightful as an aperitif or with soups, vegetable-based first courses or freshwater and seafood dishes.
